12 months later...

...not 28!

We're not try to escape Zombies…until now! Covid crisis is still there, like in France where I live. Many people are not able to gather due to this yet.

But hope of a beautiful spring and summer to play together is in all mind, and playing on untap is possible since Reborn team uploaded all the existing sets, officials and their own.

That's why we're announcing...

The E.N.D. …

...of the 2020/2021 season is programmed to march 31st of 2021!

No more major ONLINE will be organized, and due to the pandemy, we’ll probably won’t be able to play others before this deadline.

But ya all can still play in tournaments until march 31 of 2021, all other tournaments organized online or IRL can be organized like we did previously (1 per month, same points).

Just after the end of the season, standings will be registered and following players will be qualified for a continental online tournament on untap that will start in may or june:

1. Each Major Tournaments Winners (total number of slots = 4)

2. Best Ranked Players from each of the following countries : Hungary, Italia, Estonia, Slovakia, France, Poland, Germany, Belgium. (8 slots)

3. Top 4 players of the remaining ranked players of the 2020/2021 season. (4 slots)

These 16 players will be qualified to fight into...

This final online Eu Continental Championship wont grants any points for the next season.

But player's gonna have fun and fight each others to have the very first Continental Championship Title!

These 16 players will play 2 pool phases :

• Pool 1 = 4 groups of 4 players -> winners & second goes through

• Pool 2 = 2 groups of 4 players)

Then classic Top 4 between 1st & 2nd from both 2nd pools.

Tournament will be organized from the older format to the newest one :

• Pool 1 = Classic

• Pool 2 = Contemporary

• Top 4 = Core

Top 4 of this tournament will be qualified directly for the next continental championship.

And finally, news about how this new season will works :

1. An EU player database will be edited and you'll receive a player number with your local tournament organizer. This database and this number will be helpful for everybody. This way you can go to play tournaments everywhere and be sure points will be reported and will be updated as often as possible with newcommers.

2. Instead of "Monthly", tournament's organizers will have to organize 12 tournaments maximum per year. For example, if they want to organize 3 during june and none during july because of summer vacation, that's ok.

3. Major will still be organized by "local" organizers, one major event per country, two different tournaments in two different formats

4. Three major tournaments online will grants points for 2021, one in classic, one in contemporary and one in Core

5. Last but not least: 2021 season starts now ! It means that the first three local tournaments organized before march 31 of each tournament organizer will count both for 2020/21 and 2021 season !(like previous "monthly" of january > february > march).

   I took this decision to help newcommers and comebackers to have points and maybe qualify an easier way for continental 2021 and 2022.

   So basically, points for your next 3 "local" tournaments will counts for both 2020 and 2021 rankings.

Last rankings of 2020/21 will be published with the name of qualified players on a separate article on the website.

After that, 2021 rankings will be published on usual parts of the website too.

I hope these announcements will enjoy people and encourage everyone to continue or play again!
